In an interview, he revealed that the fragrance has already gone on sale throughout Europe, the United States, and online.
The first market reactions are positive. Additionally, the characteristic green bottle decorated with a golden paw pattern and the inscription “Fefe Dolce & Gabbana” attracts the attention of dog lovers. Although dog perfumes are nothing new, this offering from a well-known fashion brand is the first of its kind. According to a report by Bloomberg Intelligence, the pet products market is expected to reach $500 billion by 2030, up from $320 billion annually today. The increase in consumer spending on pets is therefore visible and will continue in the coming years.

For €99, owners can purchase a luxurious mist that envelops their pet in notes of ylang ylang, musk and sandalwood. However, Alice Potter, Senior Science Officer at the RSPCA, warns about the potential negative effects of using such products.

Potter notes: “We often attribute human characteristics to dogs, which leads us to believe that they will enjoy what we like. dogs rely on their sense of smell to communicate and interact with their environment, other animals and people. We therefore advise avoiding products with strong scents, as some of them can be very unpleasant for dogs.”
