The latest show Jacquemus, as has been the case recently, outside fashion weeks and outside current trends and motifs, once again shows what an interesting figure the French fashion visionary is. What does his latest collection look like and why does it remain outside the mainstream of the fashion world?
Jacquemus 2025 show – original and individual
Simon Porte Jacquemus proves once again that fashion is not only about what we wear, but also how and where we show it. His latest show, titled “La croisière,” took place in the intimate atmosphere of Auguste Perret’s Parisian apartment, far from the hustle and bustle of official fashion weeks. Is this a sign of a new era in his career? The French designer has consistently followed his own path, celebrating the craft of haute couture and redefining contemporary elegance.
His designs are worn by both iconic models like Pamela Anderson and young stars like Tyla, and his spring/summer 2025 collection combines tradition with modernity. From 50s-inspired silhouettes to a new take on the iconic Nike sneaker. Jacquemus proves that fashion can be both timeless and avant-garde. Is it this independence and authenticity that draws crowds to his world?
The path of independence and authenticity – the designer’s story in a nutshell
Simon Porte Jacquemus is a designer who has proven that independence and authenticity can be the foundations of great success in the fashion world. Raised in the small town of Mallemort in southern France, he began his career at the age of just 20. He took the name of his brand from his mother’s maiden name.

Could his beginning be more symbolic? Inspired by her tragic death, Simon put everything on the line. In an instant, he dropped out of school at ESMOD to create on his own terms. He took his first steps by promoting his designs in stores during Vogue’s Fashion Night Out. However, in 2012, he made his debut at Paris Fashion Week. Since then, his collections have not only been clothes, but also stories – full of simplicity, colour and references to the Provençal heritage.

Today Jacquemus remains true to his independence. That is why he creates shows in remote locations or intimate interiors, far from the pressures of the traditional fashion calendar. Is it this courage to be himself that makes him one of the most intriguing designers of our time?
